Good place for families. Facility is clean. Staff and personal trainers are kind and helpful, although the place seems short-staffed. Circuit training room and free weight room can be miserable to work out in due to there not being enough machines and cages. The weight rooms are lousy with lunks who act like they own the place and do not respect the people around them (talking loudly, claiming equipment by putting bags on or near the seats, slamming weights…) Usually you can ignore these people but with how busy it has gotten, they have become unavoidable. It’s a fine facility especially if you have children but I will not be renewing my membership due to how crowded it has become and how intolerable the weight room environment is. There are other gyms in the area for the same price that more closely cater to my needs.

Nice pool and gym.Has everything you ever wanted there.The only thing is that they really need a regular cleaning service.The place really needs a complete cleaning.Not very clean.Also the staff needs to enforce the no cell phone policy.So many customers are on the cell phones when working out.Just sitting on the machines.Tieing up the machines,when others want to use them.

VISITORS BEWARE: This swimming facility is the best in Lancaster County with its two pools. But its staff — especially its executive director — does not put up with quirky and special-needs people like me who have Asperger’s syndrome. I moved to Lancaster County and then got a membership at this place in January of 2021. Almost immediately I began being hounded by that executive director who constantly seemed to be lurking around every corner just waiting to catch me doing things like using my laptop in the poolroom, lying down in the shallow section of the splash pool and rolling around in the water, and spending “too much time” at the facility in spite of the fact that I was a full-paying member who was generously helping her pay the facility’s maintenance bills. (Being wet and being in water have always been intensely soothing for me, which is why I have always spent large amounts of time at swimming places.) I was trying my best to be a responsible member by obeying the rules and policies, but it never seemed good enough for this pitiful human specimen. During my two and a half years as a full-paying member at this facility I had the constant feeling of walking on eggshells with this woman, and everything she did gave every indication that she really had it in for me right from the start. Finally it all came to a crashing end on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1:20 PM when this executive director came into the poolroom, told me she was ending my membership, ordered me to IMMEDIATELY get out of the water, get my things together, empty my rented locker, and head on out the front door. When I reported to my Lancaster County autism support services coordinator on account of the behavior of this karen, my supports coordinator told me that she has heard reports from her colleagues of THEIR clients having a history of being kicked out of this facility. Consequently my supports coordinator and I are working to bring some disability education to this facility. Emails from both my supports coordinator and I to that executive director have gone totally unresponded to — including three emails which I myself wrote in which I described how hurtful it was to be kicked out of this facility after I thought I had friends there especially among the staff. I will be modifying this review and giving this facility a full five stars, instead of only three stars, if some administrative behavior at this facility changes for the better.
